起源精神 | ||
| 「 後花園 / Grand Garden 」名字係參照木球發明人 翁明輝先生私人花園之名：西元 1990 年初，翁先生在臺北市找了一塊山坡地，並開始著手建設，取名為後花園。因翁先生有運動健身的習慣，所以想做一套方便攜帶，不同於高爾夫球的實用球具，以使父親及自己能在後花園裡揮桿散步及運動，進而發明了木球運動。 「 休閒園藝 / Sports 」代表著木球運動除了是在草地休閒玩樂之餘外，也是一項新興的運動競技項目。 ''Grand Garden'', named after Woodball inventor, Mr. WENG Ming Hui’s private garden. In the beginning of 1990s, Mr. WENG found a hillslope in Taipei City and named it the Grand Garden after constructions. Because of the habit of exercise and work-out, Mr. WENG hoped to build a set of more functional equipment which is easy to carry and different from golf’s. Therefore, invented Woodball sport to swing, to take a stroll and to workout with his father in the Grand Garden. ''Sports'' not only stand for the recreation that Woodball sport brings on the grass but also represents the new competitive sport event. | ||
